Licence
Last updated 4 October 2026
Layro sells source code. That makes the licence the product almost as much as the files are, so this page says exactly what you may do with them — and the short answer is “build whatever you like, do not resell the code itself”.
What you may do
- Use Layro components in unlimited projects, personal and commercial.
- Use them in work you are paid to do, including client work, and hand the finished product to that client.
- Modify anything. It is your copy; there is no phone-home, no key check at runtime, nothing to break.
- Ship the compiled result to any number of end users.
- Keep using what you bought for as long as you like. There is no subscription to lapse.
What you may not do
- Redistribute the source, modified or not, as a component library, template, UI kit or starter — anything whose value is the code itself rather than a product built with it.
- Publish it anywhere public: a public repository, a package registry, a design-resource site, a marketplace.
- Sell or give it to other developers as code, including inside a paid template or course.
- Use it to build something that competes with Layro as a component library or marketplace.
The line is who receives the code. Your users, your client, your team: fine. Other developers, as something to build from: not fine.
Your team
One purchase covers one developer. A team buys one for each developer who works with the source. This is source code, so that is a promise rather than a lock, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. If you need many seats, write to layropro26@gmail.com and we will sort it out properly.
What you bought stays yours
Lifetime access is one payment and a permanent licence. It covers every component and template on the site, and every one released after you buy, for as long as Layro publishes them.
Nothing phones home and nothing expires. Code that is already in your repository is yours to keep, under this licence, permanently.
Free components
The components published free on 21st.dev are not covered by any of the above. They are public: copy them, read them, ship them, no licence and no attribution required.
Templates
Templates are included with lifetime access. Each template states its own licence on its page; where it does not say otherwise, this one applies.
Warranty
The code is provided as it is. It is tested and used in real products, but no software comes with a promise that it will suit your case, and we cannot accept liability for what happens downstream of your build. Read it before you ship it — that is, after all, why you get the source.
