Which draft is which, and how to get an old one back — summarised in a sentence a person can act on rather than a byte count.

The decision inside it

Signed versions cannot be restored over

Restoring over a signature would invalidate it, so the component refuses rather than warning.

Installation

How you get it

One command. The CLI writes the file into components/ui/ and installs what it needs.

npx shadcn@latest add https://layropro.com/r/version-history

Pro components need the CLI token from your account page. Put it in your environment as LAYRO_KEY and use the namespaced form.

API

“Copy prompt” above puts a full brief on your clipboard — install command, dependencies, props, and the mistakes an assistant usually makes with this component.

Props

Read from the component’s own TypeScript interface when the site is built, so this table cannot drift from the file you install.

PropTypeNotes

currentIdstringThe one in play. Defaults to the newest.
loadingboolean—
onRestore(version: DocumentVersion) => void | Promise<void>Put a version back. Returning a promise keeps the row in its working state until it settles; throwing leaves the row with its error visible.
onDownload(version: DocumentVersion) => void—
onCompare(a: DocumentVersion, b: DocumentVersion) => voidGiven, a Compare control appears and calls back with exactly two.
