Ink Bleed Heading
Each word starts as a soft, ragged bloom and draws itself together into crisp type, one after another. It plays the first time the heading is read, not when the page loads, and works on any font, including a serif display face.

The decision inside it
The words stay text, and the filter comes off
The bleed is an SVG displacement filter over real type, so the heading is selectable and read as one sentence from the first frame. Once a word is sharp its filter is removed, so a finished heading costs nothing on scroll. Reduced motion shows it settled.
Installation
How you get it
Paste this into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or any coding agent. It installs the file and uses it as it is, instead of writing a new one.
Use Layro's Ink Bleed Heading for this.
Install it: npx shadcn@latest add @layro/ink-bleed-heading
(the @layro registry is set up in components.json, with LAYRO_KEY in .env.local)
Import it from @/components/ui/ink-bleed-heading.
Do not rewrite or restyle it. Pass my data through its props

When to use it
Use Ink Bleed Heading for one editorial headline that should arrive with some ceremony: the words bleed in like ink. One per page; for a bolder, faster entrance use Slice Reveal Title.
Usage
import { InkBleedHeading } from "@/components/ui/ink-bleed-heading";
export function ArticleTitle() {
return (
<InkBleedHeading as="h1" className="font-serif text-6xl">
