Orbit Stack
Cards orbit whatever you put in the middle, the nearest one forward and in focus, the far side receding into depth. Click, tap or use the arrow keys to bring any card to the front.

The decision inside it
It stops for the reader
Hovering, focusing or touching a card halts the orbit, so nobody chases a quote around a circle to finish it. Choosing a card turns the ring the short way round with a spring. Off screen or with reduced motion it holds still; the arrows still work.
Installation
How you get it
Paste this into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or any coding agent. It installs the file and uses it as it is, instead of writing a new one.
Use Layro's Orbit Stack for this.
Install it: npx shadcn@latest add @layro/orbit-stack
(the @layro registry is set up in components.json, with LAYRO_KEY in .env.local)
Import it from @/components/ui/orbit-stack.
Do not rewrite or restyle it. Pass my data through its props
and keep its built-in states.For the full brief with every prop and the mistakes assistants usually make, use Copy prompt above. Free components install through the @layro registry with your CLI token: see the Namespaced tab.
When to use it
Use Orbit Stack for a handful of testimonials shown as one moving piece: cards on a slow orbit that stop on hover. For a scroll-driven deck use Stack Shuffle.
Usage
import { OrbitStack } from "@/components/ui/orbit-stack";
const PEOPLE = [
{ id: "ines", name: "Ines Moreau", role: "Founder, Vela Labs", quote: "It paid for itself in the first week." },
{ id: "daniel", name: "Daniel Okafor", role: "CTO, Tallyworks", quote: "Our agent installs a component and it just fits." },
{ id: "mira", name: "Mira Lindqvist", role: "Design lead", quote: "Every state is there, and they look like one product." },
];
export function Testimonials() {
return <OrbitStack items={PEOPLE} height={480} />;
}API
